Background

Birdomat is inspired by a handmade bird feeder, originally fabricated by a crofter at Lake Mountain (Insjöberg on the Island of Ljusterö Sweden). Materials and design have been improved for better efficiency and durability. The house at Lake Mountain was built in 1907 on Ljusterö in the Stockholm archipelago 50 kilometers from the City. The archipelago is famous for its outstanding beauty, rich nature, and birdlife.
